Who needs an gentle reminder to Measure Twice Cut One?

We've screenprinted this phrase, well most of it, onto one end of these carpenters pencils. We like their flatness making it a lot easier to print on than if it was round. These have the phrase printed on one side and Recycled Pallet Pencil Salty's Studio on the reverse - they come unsharpened.

As they are made from recycled pallets, they come with all sorts of dinks and knots, from their previous life!

And why are they flat?

To prevent them rolling away! Imagine juggling spirit level, heavy wooden shelf, drill - last thing you need is your pencil rolling out of reach (if you dont already keep it behind your ear that is!) They are typically manually sharpened with a knife, although special sharpeners can be used.
